How Much Do Photographers Charge For Equine Photography?

Author: Wondering what prices are like for photography of a location, specifically a barn. And for photography of the horses. Do they they charge differently for action shots versus just standing shots etc. ?

for equine photography and if you have the right equipments (high shutter camera, good lenses, etc..) then you are a professional. so it will depends on the purpose of these photos…. actually they charge by working hours and not by photo.
the cost is astronomical.
it would be best to find a photographer with some horse experience and who is a lover of animals.
you will want one that understands a good horse image from a mediocre one, and that the ears forward in a shot is very important. you want someone with an eye for horses and when they look their best.
charge fee plus expenses, so thats an hourly rate plus expenses, whats the hourly rat to hire a freelancer where you are? where i am its $125-250 per hour
Best to call around your local area. First find photographers who will do those pictures, then ask for prices.
