Subject: Mr SOMEONE YOU CALL YOUR FRIEND, WANTS YOU DEAD.
I felt very sorry and bad for you, that your life is going to end like this if you don’t comply. I was paid to eliminate you and I have to do it within 10 days.
Someone you call your friend wants you dead by all means, and the person have spent a lot of money on this, the person also came to us and told us that he wants you dead and he provided us your names, photograph and other necessary information we needed about you. If you are in doubt with this I will send you your name and where you are residing in my next mail.
Meanwhile, I have sent my boys to track you down and they have carried out the necessary investigation needed for the operation, but I ordered them to stop for a while and not to strike immediately because I just felt something good and sympathetic about
Now do you want to LIVE OR DIE? It is up to you. Get back to me now if you are ready to enter deal with me, I mean life trade, who knows, and I might just spear your life, $8,000 is all you need to spend. You will first of all pay $3,500 then I will send the tape of the person that want you dead to you and when the tape gets to you, you will pay the remaining $4,500. If you are not ready for my help, then I will have no choice but to carry on the assignment after all I have already being paid before now.
Warning: do not think of contacting the police or even tell anyone because I will extend it to any member of your family since you are aware that somebody want you dead, and the person knows some members of your family as well.
For your own good I will advise you not to go out on.

Yes they can trace it BUT they wont because that is not a real email. THat is a scam i have received those. Look at the email. FROM PERU.com… Hello its those foreigners trying to scam you for your money. Did they even tell you where to send the money?

What you want to do is check the full headers of the email. Different email programs have different ways of doing this.
For what it’s worth, I received the same spam on Saturday. The headers make it look like it’s come through Google:
    Received: from nf-out-0910.google.com ([64.233.182.186])
by xxx.xxx.xxx with esmtp (Exim 4.63)

Message-ID: The peru.com email address is a red herring. Spammers typically make up email addresses to try to fool people into thinking they’re actually at a given server. The “From” field can easily be spoofed.
This is just a spam email and should be treated as such. Just delete it and go on with your day.

Sure it can be traced but fraits like this done over the net tend to be done through places like cyber cafes or computers used by many undetify people, let’s hope the preson whom is frating you is not that carefull. For now, you can get its IP address from its e-mail and try to locate from where the IP address comes from. You can use the following website to locate ip addresses–> http://www.ip-adress.com/ipaddresstoloca…

normally an email like that is thru a special server overseas and not much way to trace it,
Take a copy down to the police station for advise.
I would change my email address pronto
    don’t read ANY unkknown emails
I personally would not do anything more than delete it and then sleep like a baby
99.99999% chance that is just another one of 20000000000000000000 scam emails sent each day.
