I’m Curious About What Photographers Think About This Lens.?
The lens is this one: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/97… and I bought a 350D Canon body, (mistake thinking it would cost less instead I’ve waited and spent forever looking for a lens to go on it
) anyways, I purchased it thinking hell it can’t be that bad and I purchased at lower price from Amazon for 57 dollars instead of 80 from a store just as reputable as B&H so no worries there. Regardless, I was curious if anyone that has or does own this lens opinions, usefulness, longevity, etc.
Thanks!
P.S.
This is a side hobby I decided to start, my main photos will be of landscape but can range to just about anything that interests me, I don’t have a very good eye for detail that is with taking pictures, but I’m working on it
$79…you get what you pay for. I think for another $20 I would get the 50mm f/1.8 for the 350D instead. http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/12…
If you are planning on vista type landscapes you might check this: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/12… or this http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/51…
Bottom line lens. Will be ok for shooting a roll or three a year if you do not bump it.
Frankly, save your money and buy that 50mm. and then a good wide angle fixed focal. Learn how to use them fully.
Lenses are tools. Better tools make better images.
