Hi im just wondering what a good book is for a beginner in digital photography.
Im from the UK so must be able to understand what has been written and have to be able to purchase it in the uk aswell.

I am looking for a text book for digital photography giving tips on how to enhance images etc

I am purchasing a digital camera soon, one that is of the cheaper point & shoot variety with maybe some extra features that let me adjust photos more to my liking. I also have an SLR camera (not digital) that I found in my house that I’d like to start using as well. What’s a good book that covers the basics of photography (applicable to digital and non digital) and also maybe gives advice on the artistry of photography?

I would like to know how to take good sunset/sunrise photos without the foreground being underexposed but still get the colours of sky. I had a great question and answer book for film photography and would like another one for digital

I am looking to take digital photography in the fall, and have already bought a Digital SLR. I would like to read a book thats tailored for a beginner photographer. Maybe something that will give me ideas/inspiration as well as proper technique etc…
