I have been working as an occupational therapist for 10 years but have a passion for photography.. I don’t really know where to start when it comes to pursuing it as a career, and feel somewhat daunted by the idea of trying to work in what feels like an “exclusive” arena.
I don’t necessarily even need to rely on photography as my sole source of income, but would love to find a way to earn some money doing what I love.
Any links to helpful websites or people who are willing to mentor would be most appreciated.

How can I start my career in Professional Photography?
My husband and I have been wanting to start a business in the professional photography field for some time now, and I believe we need to get going and grab the bull by the horns! What I need to know is how to start this business. How to get our business license and how to advertise. How much to charge?

I have been into photography for the last 5 years or so. I’m 27 but will be turning 28 this July. I’ve signed up for a photography course this summer at a local university. Sometimes I feel like I’m too old to start a career so late. I’m interested in portrait photography. My wife stands behind me 100%. Other ppl in my family think I’ve lost my mind. i’m graduating high school in may and i know nothing about photography i’ve never taken a class…but i love doing it so much. i love seeing it aswell.

I’m only 16 but photography is so intresting to me! I’ve heard of people starting photogrpahy at a young age, but I’m not quite sure how. Does anyone have any suggestions? I’ll be going to college next year and I’m planning on taking some photography classes there, but what can I do now to get a head start? Is there any suggested things to begin photographing? Any suggestions about anything is welcome!
