Looking at people who are since long dead, that were in their prime in lets say the 1920s or 1930s, helps me to have peace with my time with this world, and in this life.
I would imagine that this place would feel like a prison without God’s promises. That you were locked into this time frame of 100 years or so in history much like everyone who will come after, and have came before with no escaping.
Your comfort would be that other people are here with you, in this same 100 yr span of time, and yet you are alone as well.
Here is a little of what God says about the situation:
“He has made everything appropriate in its time. He has also set eternity in their heart, yet so that man will not find out the work which God has done from the beginning even to the end.”
Ecclesiastes 3:11

Several American Native tribes, most notably the Hopi, have held the belief that photographs diminish the soul of the person whose picture is taken.
Although this may at first seem absurd, consider the lives of celebrities. Photographed all the time, they often appear to live frivilous lives of moral relativism, often involving promiscuity, drugs, alcoholism and sometimes violence. Could it be they have weak souls?
Then ask yourself, how many times have you been photographed, filmed or taped? Does it boost your ego when you see pics of yourself? Has it ever made you feel superior to others, or made you feel that you could do no wrong because you look so good?
Do you think the Hopis might have been onto something?

Hi again.. I am planning to pick up three lenses for my Nikon D80 DSLR.
I am looking for:
1) 50mm f / 1.8 Nikkor lens
2) 85mm f/ 1.4 Nikkor lens
3) 10-20mm sigma wide angle lens.
Can anyone state me the price there in Dubai? Cheap places, or place like stuff imported from singapore or USA. Or, can you point me to online shopping websites who really sells products…
I tried online, but failed.. I dont know if there is ebay there.
Help me.

I’m an upcoming photographer and I recently purchased a portable 250gb Western Digital external hard drive to back up all my files (http://www.wdc.com/en/products/products.asp?driveid=392). My computer caught a virus and I’m forced to reformat so I was wondering am I safe holding 10,000 plus photos on my external hard drive? Should I have another back up or would this do?
