There may too many amateur photographers who are low balling and taking a lot of business away from seasoned pros. Clients are doing more work themselves because of the high quality consumer digital cameras on the market. Just good enough rather than best quality work is getting more prevalent.
Has your photography studio gotten more or less work in the last few years. Because consumer and prosumer digital cameras have gotten up to 10-12 MP, more people than ever are becoming photographers and doing more of the work themselves rather than hiring pros to do weddings, head shots, product/tabletop work.
If you have seen a trend here, let us know of your experience. When just good enough is good enough and the margin between pro photographer sand amateurs is a narrowing gap.

I am a relatively new amature photographer that wants to purchase fairly portable lighitng for portraiture, product work, and large group photos. I will have occasional need for posed sports portraits. I’m looking for reliable medium quality equipment that I can travel (primarily by car) that’s affordable and will support me as I move into more serious photography (portraiture). I plan to start with a basic set of 3 units (main, fill, and hair or backdrop) and the set should be flexible that at least 2 of the units can play any role needed in the shoot. Kits are also acceptable. I DO NOT need battery based equipment, but a battery option would be a bonus.

Like for an example Parallel lines i can use a railroad track. But im having some trouble with Perpendicular lines, Ray, Scalene Triangle, and that about all. Please i really need help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thx for who evers answers. Need more info just tell me
