In high school I learned what I wanted to do with my life; photograph. Now I’m a college freshman and after taking three photography classes (still many more to come!), I finally figured out what kind I want to do; travel photography. How does one break into this type of photography? Can anyone direct me to some helpful websites and/or books that help me pursue this type of career?

I took a picture of this sunset from my rooftop with a digital camera (Canon Powershot 95A). Here is the photograph:http://www.dynamiteham.com/sunset.JPG
The part of the sky even with the top of the church was a lovely blue color in real life, but the photo makes the whole sky orangish-red.
Is there a setting I could choose on the camera to get that blue color back next time?

Im planning on going to Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara after high school and would really like to know of ways to get noticed, or ways to get into the business. I also prefer freelance photography, so advice would be really appreciated.

Mostly, I would like to do headshots and fashion photography.

I have a qualification in level 3 photography and was considering doing forensic photography but i can’t find any courses in my area of Sutton Coldfield or anywhere in the Midlands. Can anyone help please?
