ill give you the story of my life in like 8 sentences.
I need money. Im a great photograpgher. whats a good way to make money with my photographs

So I am wanting to surprise a friend of mine with a basic home studio and I don’t know very much about what is needed to do this.
What add on would I need to put on the camera to make the umbrella lights go off? (It is an Olympus Evolt SLR)
Is it better to get umbrellas that are activated without wires?

If I were to buy umbrellas similar to these, and had an add on to the camera, as well as a backdrop…is there anything else really needed for a basic home studio? Any links for products and suggestions would be so appreciated!

I am scanning old family photographs and using them in a genealogy program scrapbook which has a moving photo show. I cannot copy this portion to make a separate video. I want a video that can be used to show my life story on a screen with photographs drawings, backgrounds and music. This video will be used for my funeral when that time comes. I do not need a complex program but rather one that I can manage for the task that I have. Thanks for your answers and idea.

As a bride-to-be, I know that most wedding photographers charge at LEAST $2,000, and it only goes up from there. Are there any wedding photographers out there who can tell me how much of that they actually pocket? (Vs how much goes towards product production or other expenses). Thanks.

I’ve recently opened a café press store. I haven’t yet added any images or products. From what I’ve seen in other stores on café press, most are comprised of graphics. Has anyone out there had any experience selling photography? I’d love to hear your experiences, good or bad.
