I don’t photograph well. I feel self-conscious about posing, and I don’t like my smile, so I dread having my picture taken. The “dread” shows up in the finished product. Even in a setting in which I’m more relaxed–at a party, let’s say, when I’ve had a couple of cocktails–I still look less attractive in pictures than in person.
Aside from working with a good photographer and maybe getting some dental work done, are there any tricks to looking better in pictures?

I just came back from a conference and saw so many wonderful images. Some people have such great vision. I am technically a good photographer. Composition, exposure, and such are not a problem for me. What I lack is the ability to look at a subject and see the final product. Help!

Looking to retire soon and I’d like to learn how to use digital Photography. Maybe make a hobby into a secondary cash flow. I bought the Video Professor Digital Photo cource so what software program do I need? Thank You
