I know PhotoShop can remove reflections but do they really do it for every photo and every object in the shot? I use PhotoShop for web design. Some catalogs have so many reflective objects it seems like an enormous task.

I feel like pictures don’t capture my image well, and kinda mess it up. That’s why don’t like taking pictures when I don’t know I’m being photographed. How about you?

Right now I’m trying to put a picture of a product from a makeup website onto my blog, and I think it is illegal. But I’m not sure how I can give the photographer credit because they usually aren’t listed on sites like that. Basically I just want to know a way that I can use certain pictures in a legitimitate way, without having to call these companies or getting written permission.

We have a very small company and take pictures of some of our products. Right now we are pretty small and aren’t at a point where we can hire a professional photographer to take product photos, so we take pictures ourselves with our digital camara. We have used Photoshop ourselves to clean up the photos in order to post online, but we are not Photoshop experts and it takes us hours to clean up one photo. I’m sure some who knows what they are doing could clean a photo up in a fraction of the time. Where is a good place to find someone who could do a very small freelance job cleaning up photos?

The colors in your digital photos have to be neat, balanced and not too dull. You cannot have any signatures, logos or marks on the pictures to define there ownership. Your photos have to be in focus and not have any noise. Lastly it should not look like you were a tourist and you had a more creative outlook.

To help your photos sell you need to photograph things that are useful to buyers. You really have to think like a buyer, because the people who are buying stock photography are marketers, advertisers, website makers, magazines, and graphic designers (to name a few). You need to attract your buyers with keywords or proper picture categorizing. Learning to pick the popular, low competitive keywords will improve your sales dramatically. And will bring a large amount of traffic to your freelance work.
