I’d like to experiment with B & W, shadows, dripping water, etc… any other suggestions for some scenes I can set up to photograph?

I actually arrange the flower but I think it's not obvious. I asked someone about this and he said it looked spontaneous shot.
I need a still life photograph that shows color harmony (just 2 colors). Can this be the one?

The school term’s started a few weeks ago, so I can go out less these days to photograph, thereforeI’ve decided to focus more on still life photography.
Anyone can give me a short introduction, as well as some tips? Thanks for the help =)

Since lighting is different for different subjects and conditions (ie. macro shots, dramatic effects, etc) there are different ways to get the results you want. I often go to this site — http://www.studiolighting.net/studio-lig… — where they have tutorials on how to assemble lighting systems/kits for really little costs. They also have tips and instructions on how to achieve the effect you want. Good luck with your photos.
