What Would Be A Better Camera For Me To Buy?

Author: Not a serious photographer here, but I need a good camera that takes good pictures for family events and vacations and stuff. Nikon, it has a bigger screen and it is more stylish. also it is $65 dollars cheaper.
Canon, I’ve heard Canons take the best pictures. but it is more expensive and its a smaller screen size.
Megapixels are the same.
I’m leaning towards the Nikon because of the price.
So tell me what you think!

If I were u, I will pick Canon, look at the lens size of both models, you can tell Canon has large lens, which means it has better aperture in general. and a smaller LCD screen general use less power, which means a longer battery life.
However, for this level of camera, it`s more or less a personal rather than functional choice.

No, Canon does not make the “best” cameras. Some of their models are better than other cameras with the same features, but at any time, there can be a better camera than a Canon.
That said, here is an example. The Nikon S51 makes a S51c which has WiFi connectivity .. if that is something you want or need, then the Nikon makes the better camera or if you need a waterproof camera then a Olympus SW or the latest Pentax could be the “better” camera.
Since Nikon, Canon, Pentax and others have been making cameras for over fifty years, they are all good cameras
I highly recommend Canon to everyone. I am a Nikon SLR user, but the Canon point and shoot cameras, along with the DSLR, top any camera that Nikon has come out with.
