Which Of These Would Be A Better Digital Camera For Me?

Okay, so I just got my money back from a warranty from my old camera, which got messed up while I was on vacation, and I’m looking to buy a new camera. I’m comparing these two and hoping that someone could tell me which would be better for me based on what I’ll use it for. I mostly do nature photography and take pictures of my friends. Here are the two cameras I’m looking at.http://exilim.casio.com/products_exs12.s…
I was thinking of getting another Exilim to replace my older model of Exilim. I like the interface it has as well as the best shot mode and the fact that it’s compact and easy to carry around with me everywhere I go.
This is the other camera I’ve been looking at, which I got to play with at Costco the other day.http://www.nikonusa.com/Find-Your-Nikon/…
I was impressed by the zoom and the fact that I could take clear pictures of people clear at the other end of the store, as well as the fact that it’s got a wide angle to it. The only con I can think of is that it’s kinda bulky and not as easy to carry around.
Any insight is appreciated, especially if you’re a pro or have used either of these cameras before. I’m leaning toward the Nikon, but haven’t quite finalized by decision yet and want to see what more photographers think.

Niko L100 is a better choice and IT DOES USE RECHARGABLE BATTERIES.Nikon just added it recently and some reviewers were saying the L100 couldn’t use a rechargeable battery. It’s a NI-MH battery with recharger. Check the NIKON webpage for the L100 and you will see it listed under “optional accessories”http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001PK8…

    either one is fine.
just realize that the nikon cannot use rechargeable batteries.

If I were you I’d stay with the world leaders, either Canon or Nikon.
Casio doesn’t have a very good reputation. I see lots of problems on the forum with brands such as Kodak, Casio, etc., and very few with Canon or Nikon.
